That is SICK. You trusted them, and no one told you your dog had died! Oh that makes me so angry.
I don't think there's any legal recourse (maybe there is? who knows?) but I'd give them a STRONG letter - in my opinion what they did was unethical. There should have at least been a case file and notes taken. These are supposed to be professionals and no one knew what happened with your dog.

i have tried wet food, dry food, green tripe, raw meat, cooked rice and browned ground turkey they sniff it a little, but they won't eat it.They just let the cats eat it, right in front of them.
They are drinking though, and like i said, i can give fluids if it comes to that.
My vet is closed already, but i can go to an emergency vet if i have too, but i am beyond broke. i couldn;t pay to have her cremated, though i would love to. I had to have the vet/kennel where she died bill me, i couldn't pay for anything other than her boarding.
I am separating them, in different rooms. I will but heating pads in their crates, and try to leave food out(like i said, i have greedy cats). I just have to keep these other pups going. They are soooo thin, and when i left them, they were a bit too plump. They weren't sick at the vet, at least that is what they told me, unless they weren't feeding them, i can't see how they would have gotten so thin in just a week.
Would it hurt anything if i buried abbi in my yard? It's not fenced in, so my own dogs don't really go in the back, especially now that it is getting cold.

I'd bury her deep. I actually do have worries about not cremating her.
Can you blend up the most delicious food (browned turkey with no-salt broth) and let them slurp it?

i'll try. i am going to call a friend to take me to te store, i don't have any more broth here, no groceries really, i don't have a car though. I will make some delicious puppy soup!
oh, soup FOR puppies, not actually puppy soup, oops.
when am is the shock going to wear off? I want to feel sad about this-now i am just pissed at the vet, and the adrenaline is pumping trying to keep these pups alive. I feel like i should be bawling or something. That's what i usually do, i am such a crybaby...

Warm soup is a good plan..
At least, in my mind.
Warm for palatibiliy, liquid for hydration, all for puppy-comfort.
Plus room-temp fluids hydrate faster.
I would simmer up white poultry -- maybe add a couple jars of baby food rice (for calories) --- in no-salt broth. Then I would blender it up. Then I would work at getting it into them, maybe with an eye dropper.
I have NO IDEA what I'm talking about here, having no puppy experience, but this is what I would do if I had no vet help.

i went ahead and did the sub-q
they weren;t eating anything, even the soup/glop i made.
They perked up right away-walked around some. They went back to sleep, but are less depressed looking.
In a slightly related turn of events-the father of these puppies got off his tie-out again. He wandered in my yard, and
"just so happened to wander into my house..."
so i gave him a bath, and he went from grey to mostly white. And, he had so many fleas, when i washed them off, he was bleeding!
I put some advantix on him, and he is happily sitting on a leash by my side, being a great dog.
and, a friend is bringing an extra crate today that was going to be used for abbi, hmmmmmm......me thinks i will keep him till i can;t anymore.
the pups seem stablized, , so i will let tem sleep for a while.

Remember that I am NOT puppy-savvy. I believe I have heard Ed or Cindy say to keep the father away from the babies, though.
And YES to hydration. They will die from dehydration VERY fast. That much I know.
Keep it up with getting fluid into them. You probably saved them with the Sub-Q. Now they might have improved appetite, too.
I would suggest that you warm the food when they wake up. (Not puppy-savvy, but lots of sick-adopted-dog experience.)
Warm is more appetite-enticing, and the fluid is absorbed better.

the babies are in crates, and he is tethered to me. but yes, i am keeping them separate. he is a gentle giant, but a giant nonetheless...
I will do the sub-q again in a little bit, and i have given them antibiotics, and will try food again tonight. The chihuahua is trying to protect the pups from the cats and other dogs, it is really adorable. I have to keep reminding him, i can do that just fine, he can rest. He was kenneled with them when they got sick, and is sick too, so he is laying in the puppy pile, keeping them warm.
I knew chi's served some kind or purpose!
Should i keep a buffet of food out for the pups, or just keep setting out different things every once in a while or what.
As far as keeping with the minimal medication, they are already on antibiotics now, should i be giving anti nausia meds too, or just let them purge and keep hydrating them?

Oh gosh, I wish I had some puppy knowledge.
Let's go with my general experience and say that they might get more excited about food if it is NOT left out..... I would offer it frequently. But I would keep water always easily available, of course, and encourage it with a little baited water (boil a piece of white chicken in water, then cool the water back to room temp). Of course, you'll want to keep the bulk of it in the 'fridge and not let it get soured.
So do you know how to check for hydration? (BTW, are they peeing?) Are they red-gummed? Do you need hydration-checking info?
Are they vomiting? Or just acting nauseated?
