Yes, Meclizine (under various brand names) is an antihistamine that works on many dogs (and people) for carsickness nausea relief. It can make for a little dry mouth and/or sedation, but that's probably preferable to vomiting. Maybe the vet could tell the O.P. an OTC version.

I'm going to check into that motion sickness medication and see if it can be sized down to a 6 pound dog. If not I'll drop in at the vets and see if they have an idea for better travel through chemistry.
