lol, having a chihuahua is rubbing off on me-i hated sweaters....
but he has one or two(it's cold), and i knew that if te pups were cold, they couldn't digest their food properly(being so young), and their pitiful excuse for fur cover adn zero fat layer, they needed sweaters.
and i secretly enjoy dressing up my animals, i have to admit....

Of COURSE "ya'll" is a real word.!!........its an understandable question though....I didn't know it m'self til I moved to Austin a while back. Those puppies are just too cute and I agree with the sweaters being, er, uh....too cute also! How do you keep the pups from ripping their clothes to shreds? I doubt I could have pulled that off with ANY of mine! You better be careful girl, you could end up livin out in the country with a passle of critters and ne neighbors some day!
'sigh'...it does sound like heaven doesn't it?
Like I said...you are in good company on this forum!

haha.
when i picked them up, i put sweaters on them right away-it was between snow days, and the car i was borrowing didnt have heat.
well, within like 5 minutes, brooke was out of hers, and clamped onto sonnys sweater.
let me add that they were BOTH wearing a harness-over their sweater.
but they got used to it pretty quick. And of course, the chi LOVES to wear sweaters, in that freakish chihuahua kind of way.

you guys are making me blush! we all know that Chi's arent real dogs...I fostered one a while back and yes, secretly liked the idea that I could sneak her to class or the grocery store in my bag...*clears throat, says gruffly* they're more rats then anything else.
oh by the way I know "y'all" is real its just the double apostrophe that looked weird when written, thats just cause I was spelling it wrong (being short for "you alls" it would be Y'alls not y'all's)

talk about big and burly-capone has a new fancy decorated greyhound style martingale collar.
from a distance, it looks like a 2" macho collar, then you get close and see the designs....it's pretty girly.
the pups have collars just like his(not pattern, but style), but they need to grow some more.
i was in my vets office, and they had a whole basket of home made friends of the greyhound collars.....they were beautiful!
wow, they are already filling out!
it's amazing, what something as simple as food can do.....

Loki wore a pink polka dotted collar for months, with a big hot pink heart tag.
he broke his and it was an extra for nico lol
Levi had a borwn and baby blue collar, pretty girly but it matched his eyes and coat so well.
Mine always act all excited when they get a new collar, and they know if it is new.
I have even caught Levi looking in the mirror when she had those dumb bows in his ear hair from the groomers..DO they know thats them in the mirror..hid he enjoy wearing bows...who knows but it made me laugh
