Got a coffeeshop nearby? When we got Jordan 5 years ago, we got to the freight office of the airport a good while before she was unloaded and brought in.....we knew when she was coming because we could hear her....all the way from the cargo hold of the plane, down the almost-quarter-mile access road to where we were and almost all the way home from the airport! I never had such a noisy pup in my life! Used to tell her if she lived to be a year old she'd be a great dog............she had something to say about EVERYthing!
I used to leave the house and go to the local coffeeshop for a break in the early days so I wouldn't reward her noise with attention or my insane antics of frustration...........
Good luck girl! My heart goes out to you!
Oh goodness, when we had our basenji, I thought my ear drums were going to blow every time he was in the crate. They don't just bark, they SCREAM - it sounds like a child is being murdered when they really get going.
Consistency was all that we could do - you're doing the right thing by not letting them out when they get noisy. Don't make a big deal about entering/exiting the crate, don't let them out immediately when you get home - etc...everything to minimize the excitement around getting out. I'm sure that they'll adjust with time - but maybe for now, get a set of ear plugs? D

I just got a new puppy. On the way home I also bought a box of earplugs for me and my housemate. He's a vocal little buggar so for now his crate is in the bathroom so I can shut the door and let the tile do their work on keeping in the noise. Once he begins to quiet down I'll graduate him to the living room until he's much quieter and can join the others in my room at night in the crate pile next to my nightstand. After 6 - 8 months old if I have a particularly stubborn or rescue/foster dog I'll also strap a good no bark collar on while in the crate.
