Since the food your are feeding your dogs is already cooked, then you can probably use the microwave just fine.
If you are feeding raw food, like a lot of the people here and Ed and Cindy do, then don't use the microwave because it will cook the bones as Connie said, and that can be dangerous for the dog.
ALso many people on here feed only raw food, of which cooking destroys enzymes and nutrients, so want to avoid cooking totally. The microwave will cook the meat a little even if it is only in there a few seconds, destroying valuable nutrition in the meat.
Since your dog's main food is kibble, that is where the nutrients in your dogs diet comes from, and the cooked meat is basically a treat, not the main diet, you don't have to worry about that.
But that is why Ed has it in his "don't column".
I also avoid using aluminum on food (and in deodorant LOL).

....The aluminum foil issue has me worried. I called the USDA about it a few days ago after I read on the diet page baout the warning. They say that aluminum foil is very safe if used with non acidic foods and only moved from freezer to referig for few days at most.
Right ... that non-acidic and few days stuff was enough for me not to let it actually touch stored food any more.
