From the sound of it they never made the bite suit they ordered it from a company in france and it was a Monro Bite-Suit.
Hey neato, I was right afterall. I did like that bite suit. It was one of the better ones I've used. Pain in the butt to put on, but the fact that it was in horrible shape probably didn't help with getting things fastened and lined up
I don't know if they ever carried that type of suit, however, Harddogs makes all it's own stuff, right in their shop. They may be able to manufacture replacement parts for you.

Any behavior that is reinforced is more likely to occur again.
Regretfully the owner of that company has passed away.
i would call Harddogs and see if they can help you with rebuilding the arms.
Im waiting for a e-mail back from rayallen's "resident expert" also known as the only guy with experice with this bite suit so after that hard dogs would be my next step i guess, i take it they also carried the suit there?
No they make the suits there and in the past had advertised that they would rebuild others suits.
i recently had them rebuild 2 of their own suits for me. The work was done well and saved about 60% or more compared to buying 2 new suits.
i have noticed that different fabrics are used as well. it seems some of the bite suits are made from a more open weave and some from a more solid and slicker finish. i would think that a more open weave would enable the dog to get a better grip, but at the same time probably leave more bruises on the decoy. a slicker finish and slippery filling would allow the decoy to pull away from the grip. no doubt, the stiffer suits offer more protection, but the thinner ones provide more flexibility. would it be safe to assume that the thinner, flexible ones are used by the more experienced decoys and possibly for trials?
i am not yet ready plunk down big bucks for a bite suit, but plan to at some point in the future. i found this discussion interesting and also wondered how loose or snug do you consider a good fit? i noticed that some of the pants seem quite loose around the calf of the leg while others follow the contour of the leg.
comments and suggestions would be appreciated. (the wearer would be 6'2" 220 lbs.)
if there are no dogs in heaven, then when i die i want to go where they went. ---will rogers
