There is not a whole lot of difference between brand new babies and very young pups. It was very deja-vu-y when I got True. In both cases you're up in the wee hours dealing with potty issues. At least with babies you're not standing outside in the pouring rain or bitter cold.
And they don't bite you and tear up the furniture straight out of the gate.

Different strokes, for different folks.
Don't get me wrong, I love my new baby boy(almost 4 months), but I like those that are in my care pooping in the yard. At least I can wait a day and stomp it into the grass.
You are dead on, though. They are very similar. Everytime my 1 year old nephew gets into something at work I think, "Handler error."
It's OK, Michael. You, me...all of us...have been well-trained to focus on dogs and have been corrected when we haven't. I'm still expecting a "pop on the leash".
I'm still trying to figure out if this thread has been hijacked.
Wow Sarah!! Great memory! and Thank You for remembering
Not, yet.. Anyday now, due date given was August 29th, but my wife has began to experience some pains since Weds night.
....Oh and Jennifer and Mike... this baby boy, just may mean a new puppy later on in the year lol. I told my wife "1 dog is NOT going to be enough for all of us". She said she agrees.
A little bit. When my wife started complaining about pains, I immediately started thinking of the fastest route to the hospital. It's not too far, but right in the middle of the city, and depending on traffic could take from 25-45 mins to get there.
