I wouldn't wait a week though. I would just get the test done.
You're probably right. It will just give me an ulcer over the next week anyway
Pouring sand down a rat hole, eh? That would seem about right. I cannot believe how much the dog eats without getting fat.
That being said - in the house, she is fairly mellow. Play of any sort is always "outside" or on the porch - she is just so explosive with her energy that the house would not still be on it's stilts if she were allowed to play in here! (I live in a bad flood zone below sea level, so most houses are elevated)
Once outside, she literally explodes with energy. Every morning she makes a few laps around the house before peeing. She has no "walk" speed - she runs. When I was still on crutches I had to "walk" her using the golf cart so she could run and burn off energy. A typical day for her is a "jog" for a mile or two first thing, a walk on the beach to chase the waves around noon, and in the afternoon I usually let her swim in the pool for a while as well.
All this and she is also doing OB work. She sleeps hard, but when she wakes up she is ready to go another round.
When a flower doesn't bloom, you fix the environment in which it grows, not the flower.
Got an appointment for tuesday. It was the earliest they could do. The vet seemed pretty sure it was an unnecessary test, but he would be happy to do it.
Crossing fingers until then.
What would I be looking at for mainanance of this disorder if it turns up to be the case?
