I don't have words to say how sorry I am. Honestly, I don't, but I am so truly sorry. I hope you continue to heal, and that time heals your loss of Duke as well.

Jenn, I too am sorry for what has happened in your life. It sounds, just from what you have written, awful...and as we all know, words can sometimes not even come close to how we are feeling or experiencing.
I wish for you a smooth steady recovery and the ability to carry on...
I know what it means when you call 'em "Goofy". I know you loved that dog and learned from him.
I was right about to PM you because I hadn't seen you on here in a while.
Now I know why.
How horrible and tragic. Thank God you're OK. Poor Duke. You gave him the best life he could have had. It was tragically cut short. I am so sorry for what happened and even more sorry for your loss. Take comfort knowing he had happiness because of you.

I am recovering, I will have permanent damage to my hand and may not have the timing I used to, but I've mangled my hands before and come out fine so I'm not too concerned.
The ribs hurt, but again, done that before. I think most of my pain is in the heart.
His crate would not fit in my car, he required a 500 and I had a Honda Accord. I question whether or not he'd still be alive if he'd been in his crate. If I hadn't taken him to town that day he'd still be alive.
He was a good dog, he was my dog even though he was my brother's.
Poor little Cuda does have many shoes to fill, but he is doing well. He is my little beast.
I will try to keep better tabs on the board but I have limited access to the internet still.
