I know that's crazy. It's coming full circle of "smellyness." I think this may be a yeast infection. I've smell this smell before but it went away and just thought it was a phase or something. What do I do now?

I did the best that I could on the limited financial resources I had. I just joined a co op that has cut down my costs dramatically. I had to budget and I wasn't going to feed him store bought kibble so I did my best. However I am always willing to make sacrifices for Enoch and I always value the advice on this forum. I will take him to vet immediately but can you tell me what to expect from the vet if it is a yeast infection? What is the treatment they might recommend?

LOL! Now I feel like I kicked a puppy!
When you can do it, I highly recommend that you get some fish oil and E. Fish oil is a potent anti-inflammation agent, not just for skin but all inflammation-based disease (arthritis, diabetes, and many more).
The modern diet (ours and our dogs'), whether fresh or commercial, is woefully lacking in long-chain Omega 3s.

The vet will take a sampling and look at it under the microscope.

Don't feel like that. I'm not easily offended. I'm all about the truth no matter what. I knew he needed to be on it but when you can't find the money you just can't. But there are always ways to cut corners and that's what I have to do. If anyone can recommend a vet in the Los Angeles area or my area that would be great. I've gone to two vets in my area and just didn't like them and when I take him to the vet about this I want to feel comfortable with the advice given.
Connie,
The co op has been great not only finacially but helping me feed Enoch the best food he can get. I was given swordfish to try but I haven't used it yet. How do you feed fish in terms of RMBs and the like?

The first time I smelled him was two weeks after his second puppy booster. But it went away and he hasn't had any other vaccinations since. I just read that if it is a yeast infection it could come back again if the underlying problem isn't dealt with. Is this something a vet will help me figure out and if he is not raw friendly will he blame raw food on his yeast infection? If he does blame it on the raw how do I go about in finding out the real problem?
