Ed, Jeff and I voted this morning. Even with a few moments of chatting with folks (the mayor and Jeff's kindergarten teacher) we were in and out in 15 minutes. It's a good feeling to have that done, and it will be an even better feeling to have those dumb political ads GONE from the tv and radio.
Is it just me or does it seem like theres just way too much politics going on? Always fighting FOR me, constant campaigning, local propositions, BSL. I wish they'ed all just take a 3 or 4 year vacation, paid even. It'd be worth it.
Honestly, part of the reasoning behind nasty political ads is to discourage a percentage of the population from voting. That leaves the ballot to the minority voters, who typically cannot be swayed from their party.
I don't think we'll see that in this election, but that's the basic idea- that you'll become so disgusted you won't even bother to vote.
I don't care how nasty the adds are, I'm just sick of them thinking they have to try and address everything in everyones lives. Just go away, I'll take care of myself.
I voted weeks ago via absentee ballot - very convenient.
Oh course a Libertarian President is just a dream, so my vote is basically wasted.
Not true. You might be considered what cost "so-and-so" the election. You're bound to annoy one of the two unwanted candidates! Take satisfaction from that. I know I do.
I am grateful to be able to say that I voted today. It is certainly exciting to have the freedom to go and cast my vote for the candidate of my choice!! I love going to the polls!
A heartfelt thanks to all of you who work and sacrafice to uphold our rights.

Huge line at 7AM. I voted at 1:30 no line. I was a republican poll work from 5 to 7:30 very light turnout. That`s in a small town though.
We`re NRA, bitter gun owners that cling to our guns and religion.
The only thing needed for evil to exist is for good men to stand by and do nothing!!!
