wrapped around the insides of his crate with foam padding
An idea with merit. I'm not sure it would be sufficient though. She's a very powerful girl, she kicks really hard. Can't hurt to try. If I find baby crib bumpers, then they'll already be easy to wash.
I personally enjoy the paw action...I just have never considered it annoying enough to do anything about. It's natural, and by that I assume a needed part ofthe dog rest function just like human REM.
I think we're talking about different things. My greyhound will twitch and move his legs, and give soft woofs of whines in his sleep. It's like he's chasing bunnies in his sleep. This is cute. This is not annoying. My great dane stretches out to her full size and pounds with all her might. (She's a 110 lb dog who's favorite activity is running, she will give a kid with a drum set a run for his money.)
I'm from and currently in Rochester Jennifer, where are you from?
Really? I don't suppose you can recommend a good obedience club? I'm not into Sch protection stuff, but wouldn't mind taking obedience from a Sch style instructor.
I'm currently going to DOTCORNY, and playing the instructor method roulette game. I like two of the instructors, but the rest I've had there are purely positive trainers, who have no idea how to deal with a dog that spits out liver treats or a dog that is stronger than them. (My two beautiful dogs.) I've been doing a lot of my training from books, which is working, but a class keeps me motivated to keep up the pace of training.
Grew up in Clarkson, living in one of the west side Rochester hoods right now. Hoping if hubby and I get the jobs we're currently gunning for to move to the southeast side soon.

WHOA Small World ! I lived in Penfield for about 14 yrs, my folks now live in Geneseo on Conesus Lake. I currently live in Colorado about an hour north of Denver, but it's always nice to visit WNY.
Denise Good luck on the job(s)!! I'm in that boat right now. I need a new one and right now isn't the time to look.

Yeah, I interviewed well enough, but I didn't have the experience they were looking for, something they could have told from my resume. I think I was the fall back interviewee in case the girl with experience interviewed poorly. The guy with hubby's resume is on Thanksgiving vacation, so it will be a bit. I'm back to hunting around...
