You're all a bunch of babies! Our heat is broken at work, so it's just over 40 INSIDE. It's -4 outside, factor in the windchill, and we've received warnings of -30! Simon hops on 3 or less legs so he can keep on or 2 paws protected at all times, LOL. Widget says forget it, and just looks out the window. My GSDs think the weather is just fine, LOL. BTW, those temps are FARENHEIT!

Boy, do I remember Chicago winters. Waking up in the middle of the night to run my car so it wouldn't be dead by morning. Feeling happy to go to work because it was warmer than my apartment. One winter the windchill made it feel like -80. Dang, that wind just kills you.
You're right Sarah, it's totally the wind. Can't even catch your breath if it's blowing in your direction. I have a space heater on in my office; the rest of the guys are jealous, but I'm not sharing! I had to go outside for literally one minute to put a Range Rover on a shipping truck and just touching the door handle and starting it made my hands so cold they ached. I drove a friend to Midway airport yesterday and we saw homeless people trying to stay warm. I wonder how many of those poor people will die this week?
Carol that kinda looks like our forecast here in Nebraska- I never thought I'd be excited to see it's gonna be almost 40 for christmas!! Heat wave!! LOL It's too late now but I wanted to revise my christmas wish list to say ANYTHING WARM..BBBRRRRR..
The wind is what really just kills me... I'm definitely a warm weather person although my dogs wouldnt care if its 40 below they still want to go outside-ugh....
We live near the Olympia airport. We have 12" on the ground now with a little more expected before it warms up.
Hans thinks the snow is neat, but gets bored if one of us isn't out playing in it with him. I threw treats out into it one day, that kept him busy for awhile trying to hunt them down.
Got room for me, 3 dogs, 2 birds and 2 chins by chance???? LOL
I'm sooo jealous right now, I've been here 2 years now and I'm still waiting for my blood to thicken....
