We are getting really pumped for our vacation now that winter has let go of her cold blustery grasp and spring has finally sprung!

I think it's been finally decided that we will be taking 2 dogs with us, Shaed and Otto. This will make it easier for my mother in law to watch Kayde and just Lily. One of the things that really made us decide to take Otto too, was that he needs his thyroid pill 2x's a day and I don't want to give my mother-in-law that responsability-along with taking care of my daughter and everything else. And, I don't think that my hubby wants to leave his "boy" behind.

We'll have enough room in the vehicle for both of them and some of our gear (the rest of the gear will ride on top) and there will be more than enough room for both of them in the cabin we have rented.

We still have some things that we need to do and get done before we go, like getting Shaed and Lily spayed. And go through all of our camping gear and decide what to take and what to leave. And 5 days before we take off, we're having a housewarming party, and 3 weeks before we're having a birthday party for Kayde, my mother-in-law and me (our b-days are 23rd, 25th, 26th-in that order), and we're trying to get our backyard done (dog area, lawn, patio, etc.). I should feel overwhelmed, but I'm too damn excited for summer, that it hasn't hit me yet-YIKES! One thing at a time.
