... Thats what I was trying to get with the meal recommendations that I made last night. ONE meal that worked, then build up from there. ... If chicken 1/4er's is *that* meal, then feed them for a few days while keeping a journal of how things are going and post back with poop updates.
I appreciate the advice and have already started implementing it. I have a journal by her food counter that I am keeping track of her feces and what she eats each day (for now being just the 1/4's). Thank you
I'm not one of the experienced people here, but I have raw fed for about a year and half.
I would concur with the Wise advice that Michael gave.
I know when I first started raw feeding (I think it was about April of last year) and you see how excited they get with real food, it's easy to add too much, too soon. I went thru that with Marie Henrietta Antoinette (my dog aka Mimi) and her poop would be too firm, too soft, diarrhea, etc.
It can be difficult to be patient after you see one good poop, but persevere.
The log is a FABULOUS idea.
I do a log for everything that I have too work on now with my dog whether it be food, fleas, etc.

Also be sure to underfeed (less than what you think) for a day, until you see perfect poops.
