I actually noticed today as i gave a little less THK and the dodo was a little softer but formed...Maybe it's just too much supplement/THK that I'm giving on these days... What I don't understand is, if some dogs can be given only THK, why are mine still have loose stools when i give too much of it as a supplement (they have been taking it for a solid 6 months)
My guess would be that there is too much food, period, on the THK days.
I'm curious about the choice of Preference. (I always am. ) I loooove THK and I think it's a wonderful food for a bridge-to-raw, a variety "gravy," a basis of a diet, or a travel food. But I buy Force and Embark, with meat. Why not? It's a complete diet, then, in itself. http://leerburg.com/honestkitchen.htm
That is, the proportion of it versus the RMBs, etc., is not particularly important because of the fact that both parts are balanced foods.
But I digress. (I could co-author the book on un-clarity with you!)
I would cut back on the THK Preference amount and see what happens. You can add it back little by little. I would guess that if it's not the C, then it's just too much food.
If you don't see an immediate change, I would next leave out the alfalfa, then the kelp.

not sure why i give Preference, I use to give Force and since I already had my protein source figured out then all i needed was some vedgies to carry the supplements...
