I don't think illness wrong food maybe but she is used to aburt food change. So it normally fixes it self in a day or two. i can go between brands of food quickly with her. With little to no stomach upset.
She does not have separation anxiety I dont think I can leave her in the house and leave for twelve hours and not have a issue with her tearing up the house.
She has not been crated for about a year now. Although she still has her crate set up we just took the door off.
Her stool has been going back and forth. She will have normal stool then the next one will be running I think thats the food. I though it was a ok food but I wont ever buy it again in a bind.
She only has a small little 4 pound dog. She is pretty used to us leaving but normally my neighbor just feeds her and lets her out when we are gone.
My sister had twins and we have been traveling back and forth but one of the twins was put in the ICU for a cold or something witch is why we had to leave quickly.
We are working with her the only reason I think her is Bruiser came home like this to I could probably even find the post if I back track. From when he came home and he was a complete opposite of phoenix.
I normal switch her food between Parie Fromm and Welness Core.
It seems like this has been going on for a long time for such a drastic personality change. If it were me, I'd take her to the vet just to be sure there isn't anything else at work...
But then I wonder how she was treated at that sitter's place. Was she left in a crate? Was she yelled at for jumping on the couch? Were there other dogs there that could have bullied her? I'm always overly suspicious of people... I hate to suggest it, but maybe they gave her some kind of medicine to keep her calm? You said she had anxiety problems.
But like I said, I've always been paranoid when it comes to my pets.
She bullys there dog its a four pound runt. I think there may have been yelling and spanking she was crated I sent her travel crate with her.
I will have her at the vet on Thursday for sure. For a fecal and blood test. I do think there was a spanking that she does not want to tell me about or yelling Cause the only other time I have seen her like this was when she was a puppy before I learned how to train her.
And yes Phoenix is a very sensitive dog. she was already very scared form jump them the spanking as a puppy but she is a great dog now. and we do not lay a hand on her anymore
Yelling and hitting certainly would explain the withdrawal... Poor puppy!
Stephanie, do you have another sitter option?
Yes I do now. My new sitter is watching Phoenix right now.
So i will see how it went and if she followed everything to a tea I set up a camera. That she does not know about.
I am not very happy about it because the person that watched Phoenix and at the time Bruiser i watch her dog all the time. He is very hand shy and until now I never put two and two and made four.
