We went up the mountains today for a nice day hike with our friend and his dog (her name is Nala, you can try and guess her mix, she's an absolute doll), and thought I'd share some pictures. It was a great area to have them run around off leash as it was very far from roads and thanks to Leerburg both their recalls are amazing (the last picture is a recall shot lol). Down here in So Cal it doesn't get that cold so taking the dogs up to the snow is always a blast. Hope you enjoy
You know, a little Corgi is why I'm back in dog land. We dog sat my friend's sweetie names Jacob for 10 days. When he left, we were bereft. We waited a month to make sure it wasn't an impulse decision, then took the plunge and got Cali. Thing is, Jacob's idea of a walk was three houses--laziest dog ever! But SO cute!

Thanks everyone! It was a lot of fun and it was nice to let them off leash for once. They were wiped out. Slept the whole drive home and afterwards. It was Nala's first time in the snow and she was just hilarious.
I'm glad there are Corgi fans here! They are great little dogs. Almost like short GSDs.
I had a Corgi named Louie in the very first obedience class I ever taught! I will never forget how that little dog put every other student to shame. He was such a little performer and ham! Loved them ever since!
