I've heard of ES's before. Don't think I've ever seen one, though and never made the connection between them and Daisy. There are a couple of males on that website that are almost the spitting image of her, minus her slightly odd ears. She's certainly colored like one. I've wondered a few times if she wasn't really a purebred something-or-other, if for no other reason than she doesn't really look like an average "Oops dog." Then again, nothing really fits all that well, either.
We thought St. Bernard mostly because she is large for any of the normal collie-type breeds, is generally colored like one, and doesn't seem to have much of a working character. It might just be my imagination, but she seems a bit jowly to me, too. She is really big-boned (no, I'm not just being kind, lol), much bigger boned than I think would be common in any working collie-type population. I measured and weighed her today and got 22-23 inches at the withers and 63 lbs (she should lose another 5). Australian Shepherd mix was just what they tagged her with at the shelter and since it didn't seem ridiculous I've never really had a good cause to question that.
She has the wonkiest tail, BTW. It's sort of like an Afghan hound's, only shorter overall, with a bit tighter twist at the end and a lot more fur. Maybe if I ever have the money to burn, I'll get her DNA'd an see what they think, lol.

I betcha it'll come back Dachshund. Everyone I know that's forked over the cash for the DNA test somehow has a Dachshund mix. No matter what the dog looks like, only the Doxie DNA can be identified.
Daisy is a very pretty girl. I'd never guess that she's 10.
