Yeah the Who rates up there someplace. I saw them in Cleveland of all places sometime around 71(?) 72(?) there abouts. Wow, was that wacked!
There was a bunch of us hanging around outside and it was still like what listening to your stereo at home when your parents told you to turn it down. Any ways, somebody in the group had the foresight to bring a rope (imagine that?), and somebody else inside decided they needed some fresh air (gets stuffy in those places ya know?). So's the next thing before any one can think about it we find ourselves in some second story office looking kind of room cramming through a doorway into a hall a scattering as fast as we can.
Guess What? what? It was even LOUDER INSIDE!
Not really, it was my first. I even took my daughter to a Spice Girls concert once. The last one I went to was several weeks ago...Moody Blues. Loud enough for me. I wear ear plugs.
I love STYXS!!! The WHO, Guns & Roses, AC/DC, Aero Smith...all were pretty loud in concert. But then I have always loved loud music (used to drive my folks crazy for sure) & still do like it loud. Gotta love the custom sub woofer & 8 speaker stereo system in my truck. I only get to play it LOUD when the dogs aren't in the truck with me...which isn't all that often. I do take advantage of the opportunities that I have to really turn up the volume.

Yes they all could be pretty loud! My family knew a guy that set up the security for the bands that came to town. I was always more infatuated with his dogs that he used for security, but he did always get us tickets to many venues! I remember going to a Blue Oyster Cult concert, while leaving, all the dogs were lined up in a row barking, it was so strange, couldn't hear a thing! He bred two of his dogs, the mother died, we got a pup at just 3 wks old, named him after the group last in "Jagger," we already had a cat named Mick at the time so it worked!
