I did this with 2 pups. One 9 months & one 8 weeks, both males & a 3 yr old female. I can tell you it is a lot of work. Especially since at that time they were all kept seperated. I would not even think of 4 at the same time. Sorry, but I don't know how you, alone, could possibly give those pups what they need to have, spread that thin. And then you hope to do SchH training with them as well? Do you know what the committment is in working a dog in the deciplines of sport work?!!! Somehow, I'm not sure that you really do. But I could be wrong.
Steve is right, sounds like a mess in the making to me, too. Good luck.

Oops, meant to ask Chris. Maybe he works at a dog training school? I dunno...

Yes, sir, I do believe it would be appropriate. Although he already has the four pups... It sounds like quintuplets to a single mom to me...

hehe.. You might be on to something, Aaron.
In the past week there have been several different posts by newer users that are on topics known to raise the ire. I'm starting to wonder if there is a troll hanging about.

The only way I would attempt it was that I was fully retired, good health, had an assitant trainer that worked for free. I have two working line GSDs that rank on each other anytime they think I'm not paying attention and it is a full time hobby/lifestyle. I have to work both of them nearly every day rain or shine or snow or they go bonkers. Roxie is 7 and JUST started to calm down a bit.

Thanks for the reply's i do have the video raising a working dog i have not seen 8 weeks to 8 months yet, i have watched how to raise a working pup, bite training puppy's, building drive grip and focus, and basic dog training. i do not plan to put all four into schutzhund as that would be far to much work for me just starting, as it is now i have not just the 4 GSD, but 3 other mixed breed dogs, i have 4 children and my wife who help with the dogs and the breeder i bought them from who is an ex K-9 handler. The bloodline of the dogs come from Jim vom Fiemerik (pretty sure i misspelled that) from Darby-Dan kennels, and will post pics of them soon. i have been looking for schutzhund clubs but so far have not been able to find any in the area. i live in brooksville, florida. I'm in the process of building some kennels for them and getting into routine for them i spend a few hours a day with them, (sadly most the time i spend more time with my dogs then my family) but i only do a few mins with each and trade them out, usually by the time i am done its time to start over again lol, but using the basic obedience they picked up the markers very fast and are having no trouble learning commands. just dont want to push to much obedience on them to fast. thanks again for your help and will try to post some pics soon.
Oh and my intention was to buy just 2 dogs for as long as my wife and I have been together we wanted a beauty and the beast ( hills have eyes movie) when i finally found someone selling GSD's he was retiring and had his last 2 litters. the two older males were/are inseparable and being it was one of them that we picked he would not sell them seperatly so it was either pick another or take the 2 and i took the 2 my wife fell in love with the little girl and i had to take her as well, now my family and the breeder i bought them from have become friends and spend alot of time together the last little boy i got was his last boy and he gave him to me free of charge. and tbh i couldnt imagine not having him now, to me they are just like my children and watching them grow up and develop their own personality is amazing. and i love nothing more then every chance to work with them.
