Correcting for fear issues (in my opinion anyways) is very tricky business, sometimes you will get the exact opposite result than what you wanted, like it sounds you are, making it much worse.
I found your other thread, I thought you weren’t doing this anymore, did the instructor tell you to do this?
Think of it like this, every time dog is fearful of something he\she gets corrected, it can make fear problems much worse. It can make them very worried\nervous of the situations and react accordingly.
Like every time a person walks up to you and dog freaks out, you correct, what did the dog just learn…people coming up to us = correction. If I was brought up like that I wouldn’t like people either.
As a disclaimer: I am not a professional either but have a fearful dog that I work on every single day of her life, she deserves it… but she does not have fear aggression, so take it for what it’s worth.
yea I only did it their because she wanted to see how he reacted to the prong afther that we took it off him that was the first time with seeing him so I'm going back on monday without the prong to try and work with him a different way
