Willie, that harness information is wonderful!! So you figure the X-back? Kelly, if I send you the money can you pick me up two as well? I’m thinking florescent pink for my studly boys.
Love the pink idea. I could CJ.... the shipping seems kinda pricy, I'm sure I could mail it cheaper!!!!
Ingrid- what do you think of the Nordkyn X back harnesses? I've always wanted one.... Never made the commitment though. Always made my prior dogs pull in a Ruff-Wear backpack harness. (or over T-day, Koenig pulled the kids in the sled with his collar- poor guy, but they all had fun)
This... what a wonderful picture of you guys Ingrid and exactly the flat, boxy type thing I had pictured. Maybe some skis or wheels on it. And WOW, Frost looks amazing!! What a versatile pup. Those pulling pictures are incredible. How much weight does he pull?
And Kiersten, Bob had a busy day but I'm printing off those directions as I type and will be strategically placing them for his reading pleasure.
That Bouvier cart is really something too Ingrid. Kinda looks like the cadillac. We'll need to figure out the volkswagen first and if all goes well, that's certainly is something to aspire to.
I'm going to be reading this information for a while, trying to get things figured out. I haven't even touched the surface with the links.
Thank you so much guys, this is going to be an interesting training project.

Polar Fleece, Neoprene, Sheepskin, Super Plush, custom order... okay now how do you decide on this? I know one I feel like ruling out.
And that would be great Kelly if you’re into it. Might work out well if you're going anyway and I can get these choices narrowed down.
And Willy, almost missed your new sig pic in this whirlwind of excellent information. Eddy looks so supportive. What a beautiful animal. That’s an interesting harness, around the ribs and flank area like that with the handle. Looks perfect for a guiding pull. Nice set up! Great picture!
Hi everyone! New to the discussion forum & was actually looking for something else when I stumbled upon this Q&A. I have a friend with practically zero dog training experience, & she wants to see if her Vizla can pull her on a sled of some sort. I like the idea of pulling a tire or a heavy chain, & could easily help her with that, except: Do you think a vizla could actually pull a woman of probably about 125-130lbs, on a light sled? Sharon (the owner) says Uma (the dog) can pull her up a hill with a fair amount of force, & this gave her the idea of pulling a sled, & winter is well on the way here in Boston. What do you think? And do you know exactly how pricey a light sled & appropriate harness would be?
Thanks!
