Thanks Connie! I'm ordering those ASAP.
I was thinking about teaching sook to Danni tonight actually It's something I can have her do while I'm getting ready in the morning (I have her hang out with me when I get ready so she can be out of the crate for a bit before we play two ball).
I'll remember that warning about the flying tug a jug...that sounds like something both of mine would do.

What is sook? And, Jethro is ready to learn something new. Tonight he was standing on his two hind legs for a treat. I said, "Up" from a Sit. Where should I look so I can learn to teach him tricks? He needs the mental and physical stimulation.
I got the ball version of this: http://leerburg.com/1124.htm
I got it instead of the cube because Faroh was only about 10 or 11 weeks old, and I thought the cube would be too difficult. Well the ball was great for about a week. But Faroh became very obsessive about it. To the point where no matter what we were doing, all he would try and do was drag me to the room where the x-pen is, and beg to get inside at the ball. When it was empty, he would just scream and scream. I think I could still use it on occasion. However, he was too smart for the ball also! It is meant to be pushed around with the nose or paws, but he figured out to pick the ball up, upside down with his teeth, and shake out all the kibble!
I am wondering which one of those other toys might be suited to him... maybe the bob-a-lot? I think that jug is just asking for trouble!
Hope you're feeling better soon. There is a stomach bug going around in this neck of the woods. Yuk!
I line my kitchen chairs up about a foot apart and have Thor weave through them. Once the dog understands the weave concept you can introduce different speeds and I like him to do an obedience move at each end of the line. I mix them up so he has to really listen. Tires him out and he enjoys it....not so much the chairs. They take a beating
Good suggestions...thank you everyone! Normally I would just bundle up and go for our walk despite the weather, but me and both kids have ear infections and we can't be in the wind at all. I think Vader senses that we aren't feeling good though because he's been pretty quiet (well, as quiet as a 6 month old Malinois can be...) I will look into getting some of those toys and keep doing obedience work. Hopefully soon we will be better and we can go walking again.
Phaedra I think you are right about the jug being trouble besides swinging it around Cicero figured it out pretty quickly. He just lays down empties it out real quick and then proceeds to fling it around! Come to think of it we haven't had it out in a while.
