I really see no reason to voluntarily subject myself to selfish, rude people. A bit of genetic material and a childhood spent in the same house is not a valid reason. I pick the people I want to associate with: Mostly my husband and kids and a few close friends. I am quite content that way. The older I get the less crap I'm willing to put up with. Too bad I didn't know how to do that when I was 5.

I am glad my family was as tough loved as they were. I wouldn't of gotten out of being in that slump. Sometimes its what is best and I am living proof.

It was just a matter of time..the dog's days were numbered from day one. And she PURCHASED this pup? <Sigh> Unfortunately, she has lots of company in her desire to have a pup until it's just not so much fun anymore & actually takes TIME to care for the furry little person. :-) I believe if some people could rid themselves as easily of their 'human'kids, they would do so also.
