Ryuk LOVES the Law and Order Doink Doink....he also likes the character Elliot Stabler on SVU and the character Derek Morgan from Criminal Minds
Ryuk has EXCELLENT taste in TV characters
Murphy watches when it's something he finds interesting. He loves to watch running animals of any kind, or people talking to animals. He gets especially excited over noisy baby goats or similar noises. He'll sit in front of the TV, staring at the screen and cocking his head.

I was watching No Reservations early last week and they had a bit about eating guinea pig. Once the guinea pigs started chirping I had to save my TV from the four papillons who decided that the TV was a magic box who must contain some sort of deliciousness if only they could push the LCD off the entertainment center onto the floor.

Only my Corgi pays much attention--but she's very interested in any animals on TV, especially dogs, and barks at the TV to drive away any particularly annoying dogs trying to invade our home through the TV screen.
Last night, a commercial for some awful-looking Disney movie about Chihuahuas was on at every commercial break. Fanny kept driving them away, but the Chihuahuas kept coming back.
One of my dogs sometimes watches intently, but usually only if there are animals on the screen. In fact, I sometimes have to make her leave the room because she won't stop barking at the TV animals. This same dog also barks and gets very upset anytime people on TV are involved in fighting with one another or even just loudly yelling at one another. She's the rescue, so I'm wondering if this is something she witnessed in her previous home.
My other dog will watch for a little while if there are dogs on the screen, but he does so quietly.
I remember when we brought my previous dog home as a puppy, the first time she saw the TV on, she sat down in front of it and watched as if mesmerized for about 30 seconds. Then she never looked at it again in her life. I think she was the smart one.
Amber will watch, and seems to have favorite shows-I've even rented movies just for her. she'll sometimes bark if she hears dogs but I've also seen her watch non-animal shows intently.
My other dog, who I lost 9 mine ago would work the clicker for the tv and loved Judge Judy (???) his favorite movie was Hollywood Homicide (which I thought was terrible).
My animals are not "like" family, they ARE family.
Ryuk LOVES the Law and Order Doink Doink....he also likes the character Elliot Stabler on SVU and the character Derek Morgan from Criminal Minds (he'll perk up and listen to them intently....he'll also sit if they say sit, he's cute)
Not sure if he watches but he certainly listens to certain things XD lol
OK Jamie - admit it - you're the one that thinks Stabler and Morgan are HOT!!!! Not the dog. Don't know if you saw Stabler in the HBO series OZ. But I'll second Ryuk's votes for both.
My female rattie races around the house looking for the strange dog, when one barks on TV.
