My understanding is that there is no plan to release the current tape catalog on DVD. The new ones will be released on DVD.
As for training, consistancy is important when you first start training. So your best bet is one person doing the work until the basics are learned and then move to otherpeople working the dog.

Jode, it sounds to me like you're off to a good start with the sit/stay thing. I just have one question. Are you giving him a release word that allows him to break the sit/stay in order to eat, or to go out after you put his leash on?

If you need the tapes now why wait for the DVD? Just get the tapes and borrow a VCR from someone or go to their home and watch it ..... or go buy a cheap VCR - they can be bought for less than $50 and work just fine. Or there is always the flea market, classified ads, garage sales or pawn shops just to name a few places I am sure you could find one to play tapes.
