Thanks everyone she is a very special dog and I really love how she is still able to really enjoy life. It puts a big smile on my face every time I watch her have fun. She's got some heart problems and we'll headed in for her yearly ultrasound in another month or so, but so far she's just on one med and doing pretty good!
Michael - lol! she doesn't catch the chickens, just finds them and herds them back to the coop. It was great I just told her "go find the chicken" she went out, flushed it from underneath the bushes and helped work it back toward the coop just as nice as you please.
Herding them probably would be less stressful on the chickens.
There was a patch of woods next to my grandma's house that some would sneak off to now and then. After a couple days I'd take Sheba out to retrieve them.
