The reason I asked if the dog was to be a pet is because there are other ways to teach it if you don't care how they down just that they do it.
Downing from stand is what you want with her since she is going to be a sport dog. So I'm with Randy not to worry about it. Just keep it fun and keep at it. She will get it eventualy.

Hey Dave, if you watch the video Ana linked, watch the presentation with the pauses and the constant movement with food. That Treat Chasing is a big part of it that you may be missing in your training.

yes, watching Michael in the videos is quite impressive, and I get a few moments like that, but she loves to play.
I've played with a rag on a rope on a stick since I got her and have good targeting on wide variety of tug toys and her out is getting decent (my knuckle was me holding a crumpled rag to try shaping exercises)
I will keep trying new treats, have tryed lots, but lots left. and keeping the food moving is something I need to do better, but she loves her toys

Have you tried luring her with the treat hand under something, like a table?
What I mean is if you have her sit at the end of a coffee table, facing the table, then put your hand under the table in front of her she will have to down in order to clear the table and get the treat.

i can picture this in my head, i hope im explaining this right.

Not sure if this was part of a ME video or just something I saw on the web.
Sit on the floor with your back to a wall, knees pulled up so your legs have a "tunnel" to go under.
Put the pup on one side and lure it UNDER your legs with food, toy, whatever. The pup has to go on it's belly to get under the "tunnel".
If the pup is on a short leash you keep it from climbing over your legs. Have them high enough initially so the pup goes under comfortably.
Once that's established, lower your legs so the dog has to crawl.
AS SOON AS the pup is on it's belly, mark and reward! You don't want to mark any forward movement of you'll be teaching a crawl.

When you are ready to try working on the down again, try breaking it into smaller steps, like this:
From a sit, lure her nose down toward the ground between her toes, reward, repeat several times.

From a sit, lure her nose down toward the ground between her toes until her elbows start to bend, reward, repeat several times.

From a sit, lure her nose down toward the ground between her toes until her elbows are bent halfway, reward, repeat several times.

Gradually increase the angle she must make with her elbows until she is in a nice down.

Make the sessions short, 5 minutes or so at a crack.

This is actually a method you want to avoid with sport dogs, as they need to down from a stand, as well.
