I only have a JRT/terrier mix but I can tell you, Cody is full of fire. He is very very smart, but very very active. He digs and digs and digs. But he never digs in my garden, only in the dirt part of the back yard where the dogs run. The other day he and the others dug up a gopher, tore it in half and brought it to me! Yikes! He runs outside and hunts for lizards and now gophers. He finds a fresh mound and off he goes. I have to bring him in sometimes because he just exhausts himself.
But what a heart he has, very sweet.
I try and do my best in training him. But I really need all my time on him just teaching him to calm down. Even though he has been ill twice since we got him, once he recovers, there is no stopping him. He jumps before and after everything you ask him to do. He loves to jump straight up in the air.
I need lots and lots of rest to handle him. but wouldn't trade him for anything.
Glad to see I am not alone, that other dogs are as crazy as he is.Cody is the little black dog in the picture of my three dogs. Sharon
