Ok,let me get this straight. They didn't properly train the first dog or confine it and then when it gets hit by a car, they blame the driver of the car. Not to metion, getting a new puppy the same day without taking obvious steps to prevent a repeat occurance. Wow, that just blows my mind! I guess you can't correct stupidity.
You certainly can't. I found out yesterday that he's got it "well in hand" now and is going to train his 8 week old pup with his new prong collar. I pointed out a minor mistake to his owner that I think probably pissed him off a little bit. After watching his pup run around outside with his new prong collar on, I kind of mentioned the need to attach a leash to it in order for it to work properly. Then I started to tell him about the proper use of it and lost his interest, he turned around with pup in tow and went into his house. He's so frustrating I don't even have words for it.
No he's too dense to see that. I made another remark to him this morning and he ignored me completely. Told him to use a flat collar instead of a prong if he's going to keep him tied to a tree all day.
