KC was thirsty and being a big help, I got his snout done good but where he laid down against the wall with his ball trying to get me to play while painting the foundation is still bad. Flea comb may do it.
Nice job KC. You should have had Kim help & not the dog. LOL Like there's a chance of that happening. :-)
I could just see him with his happy face full of paint..."come on dad....let's play ball" :-)
One of those square fine wire brushes might work better then the comb. Fill the tub & stick him all the way under the water(make him lay down) & then soap him & dunk him, swish him & dunk him. Then shower him off.
Zasha did the same thing here when I moved in & painted. She looked like a rainbow...with paint from every room. Plus she walked in the paint trays & tracked it across the newly polished wood floors! But she was only a 8 mo old pup at the time.
Wait until you are fully thru paining before you clean him up..so you only have to do it one time. :-)

If the paint is dry and hardened, there is a brush cleaner that artists use to clean paint-hardened brushes. It is Winsor & Newton Brush Cleaner and Restorer:
