yall need the power of playing tug also, and training with markers, they kind of all go hand in hand. you will want to transition off of food to a toy/tug as soon as possible. One of my dogs Fritzi was never all that food driven anyway she had more prey drive then food drive. Michael shows alot of important aspects to transitioning from food to tug and how to do it and continue to build drive.
Get the 3 dvds as a set.
I have the 1st in power of training dogs w/ food..I pre ordered the new release of the same title. Looking fwd to seeing the new and improved content in it..Next up is too order the tug video later this month

Good plan! Here are discussions of the order, and, as RC mentions, transition:

"In this short video, Michael explains the evolution of why we start young puppies learning exercises with food and when & why we move them into toy rewards."

"Should I train my dog with food and tug work at the same time? If my dogs are already playing tug with me, should I do both the food work from The Power of Training Dogs with Food first and then go on to the tug OR can I do both to master the engagement process?"
