er...my parents gave me "The Very Hungry Zombie"....a parody of children's book "The Very Hunger Caterpillar" XD that was the highlight of my Christmas lol. That's about it really, I got some socks and underwear though, always useful
I got my pups plushies and bully sticks. Gam's birthday was yesterday (he's 2!) so I let him pick out a toy (he picked out a honking whale plushie...)and I picked up a second Pickle Pocket so now each pup has one.
As soon as I can afford it I'm going to be getting a "late" christmas present for the dogs, Gam has worn out our last tug so they'll be getting a new one.
We don't "do" holidays (since every freakin' day is one ), but as far as gifts go, our DS gave us a present this year....
Every year, a fire truck goes around our little town "tooting" the siren while Santa sits on top of the truck and waves. This year, our boy didn't want to crash through the living room window. He voiced an opinion, briefly, and let it go. I then invited his front paws up on my arm to give him an elevated view and although he clearly felt disdain for the crazy, freezing fat guy, he kept quiet and put his eyes on me when I told him to watch.
amber got the chuck-it ball and launcher which santy let her open early and she LOVES!, and the flying squirrel (she loves), the chuck it glo-ball, a few different treats, and two squeakys. I think she was very happy with her xmas. my horse apparently wasn't good because she got shavings (the equine equivalent of coal), carrots, beets, and cookies.
For an after xmas present for myself I think I am going to get some Leerburg obediance DVD's and replacement chuck it balls.
My animals are not "like" family, they ARE family.
My mom found the fabric and made it for me. She is amazing and can do anything
I did get some great knitting gifts for Christmas - project bag, knitting needle case and pattern book. I love Amazon wish list - it's great for pointing my family in the right direction
One of my brothers picked up some huge chew bones for the dogs. It was perfect as we had over 20 people here on Christmas day so I could kennel them with their bones and not feel too guilty about leaving them alone for a good part of the day.
