Hey - on a slightly different note, how do you guys feel about cow feet? They sell them in the grocery store meat dept. They also have tripe. It is white, not green - is that good to buy?
It's up to you if you want to feed a cow hoof, but I think there are better choices. It's personal preference.
As far as RMB'S are concerned, you can buy a plastic table cloth, of the cheap variety and train your dog to eat any bone and stay put. A little apple cider vinegar to wipe it clean, it's really easy. I fold it up and store it in the garage.
I am not a big fan of any smoked bones, just raw ones, just my 2 cents, FWIW. It's entirely up to you, and what your dog likes.
The white tripe in stores has been bleached and no good to feed. The stinky, green tripe is the only one worth feeding for nutritional value. If you can't source it locally, many feed the Tripet brand canned tripe.
