Was the antibiotic Bactrim or other sulfonamide/antibiotic combination? But even then, wouldn't some other possibilities be more likely? I'm not a vet, but "not anemia" wouldn't be enough, I don't think. I'll find a page of possible triggers besides CHF.

Other than not being anemic all the other blood values were drastically improved, most are back to normal. A tired dog is a good dog, a trained dog is a better dog.

He may be dehydrated. Did the vet check specific gravity? Did they introduce intravenous fluids? I would sub q a liter of ringers if he showed any sign of dehydration.
