Any bits and pieces of his lovies have always been spit out all over the floor so eating it's not really a concern of mine. He just likes to chew/destroy, but if it's the type of plastic I think he might accidentally ingest/hurt his teeth or gums on I'll discard it when he gets serious (aka the wiffle ball). He loves his bottle buddies, they usually have no face left on them after a couple of days with them I also got rid of the flavored Nylabone that I had given him before after reading what was happening with David Winners's family dog. (inadvertent ingestion of plastic shavings)
Ryuk is a shark jawed destroyer of rubber toys...he hasn't made one dent in the pickle pocket and because it's vanilla scented he'll chew on it even without food
Fire ants have actually invaded the house after his bones before certainly not his fault but its taken bones off the list. I am considering antler though.
Bumping this for pertinent reasons: Chance is on his first day of crate rest and he's very adept at shredding things - I had to take the everlasting treat ball away from him after about 30 seconds as he started immediately gouging the material to try to get the kibble inside by disassembling it. One afternoon he decided to give the black kong bone his attention and took 1/2 of an end off in about 10 minutes in his crate. Full sized extra large blue (radiopaque) kongs and the pickle pocket have stood up to him so far, though the PP will probably need to be replaced inside the month and we just got both the goughnuts maxx ring and stick as a 'puzzle' for him to mess with over the next 9 weeks.
