I'm going to have Kolt work/focus around food distractions. This is gonna be interesting as he dearly loves his food... But it's one of those life skills I want him to have so no time like the present to start!
Sorry for the lack of progress videos... Life has been crazy this month and I've been grabbing a few minutes here and there to train for this. I thought I had a starting one, but I can't find it to post.
But I do have a final video from today!! Six months old today and I'm pretty happy with how he's doing

Duke is gonna put toys in a bucket, and Chance is gonna sit pretty. How well either of them end up doing these things.. who knows?
There will be some confusion as to why I am using a clicker AND yes with Duke - We have used YES as the mark since he was a puppy but I am finding that I have much better timing with the clicker (and recently recovered it from under the kids' bed). The final video does show that I personally have much more work to do on my timing. I found this to be relatively challenging to train and inadvertently had Duke thinking to bring the toys to me, not the bowl, which I discovered when I started changing the bowl's location. I think we were able to move past that a bit and while not picture perfect, we got pretty much what we were aiming for. I had very recently started putting a name on PLACING the item in the bowl (put it up) and both commaands together were a mouthful - planning on fading the 'get your toy' out for house cleanup purposes.
We had a great time training this and he's very enthusiastic about the food roll I bought for the last day This is the first 'completed' command that Chance has learned with us.
Our goal was to have Sasha weave through my legs without barking her fool head off. I couldn't get her to do it properly without barking so I gave her a toy to carry while she did the weaves and that way she couldn't bark. (OK, so I cheated a little).
I'm sorry that the quality of the video is so crappy. I did it with my camera first but couldn't figure out how to download the videos. These videos were done on my cellphone.
