So sorry to hear about Kasey's arthritis - I sympathize with how hard it is to watch these guys as their bodies get old and slow down, but their hearts remain so enthusiastic for every day. Oscar is going on 11 and he's up for only a fraction of what he used to be able to do - it's not arthritis specifically, just general physical aging. I actually just popped on the forum today to update a post I put up earlier in the summer looking for joint supplement recommendations...

It sounds like Kasey's situation is quite a bit more advanced than Oscar's, and you've already moved into more extreme pain management, but I will note that I've added the Syn-Flex glucosamine support (sold here) to Oscar's diet and I've noticed quite a dramatic improvement in his desire to be up and about, and his endurance on walks. For the first time in a long time he's actually leading me on walks, rather than constantly lagging behind - I notice him back to his old sleeping positions as well (for a while he appeared to be adjusting his resting pose to take pressure off of his shoulders/elbows...). Just thought I'd throw that out there in case you're still experimenting with supplements.
