If you are caring for your dog, consistent with its training, mindful of its health, feeding, watering, working and playing with it, and generally responsibly caring for its needs, what is the issue?
You are a more measured person than I am. I probably would have walked away from the nut case by the end of the second sentence, or the first loudly modulated irrational recrimination. Well, I might have had a snappy rejoinder or two.
Your dog your rules. End of story.

thanks all. I love this forum . I owned pet german shpeherds as a teenager but then pitbulls my entire adult life and now a high(medium-high) drive working gsd. I am accustomed to the pitbull thing for sure. At that time I was allowing them to be friendly with people cause this was pre:leerburg/ellis philosophy. It blows people mind when there is a no pet rule and so on.

I would crate that dog inside. If you absolutely must leave her outside in a kennel LOCK IT securely and put up a camera. I can almost guarantee you that crazy thing is going to come onto your property and "liberate" the dog to show you how it's done.

You two, Bob and Cathy, never lack surprisingly creative and practical ideas. I guess it would be worth to give them a try in my case - unwanted Pit petting - too. No tiresome chatter. Action.
Once really angry I probably look anyway like a scare crow myself,
but for dealing with a slingshot I'd need some training first on a moving object. Who will lend himself as a target?
