Very sorry to read about this sad bit of news, Becky. I haven't posted in quite a while but I've been reading about your experiences with Jazz and all the trials that went with them. Despite all your best efforts, sometimes things just don't work out. We've had a few of those experiences ourselves and I know how painful they are. You did your best. Jazz is in a better place, free of whatever demons that were keeping him from enjoying a normal dog life. Good on you for at least giving him your best shot. Somehow, I believe he knows that also.
This sounds so positive, Becky. We all learn from our dogs. When you feel ready. you'll welcome another dog, i'm sure about that. With new eyes just allow youself the time you need. I think, all of us here, will be very happy, once you write us, that you've found your companion.
“If you can keep your head when all around you are losing theirs, then you are a leader” – Rudyard Kipling
