Prepare for a ton of grooming with that guy.
Get him used to being on a grooming table to save your back.
The grooming table can also be used in the beginning of marker training.
That association with treat rewards will help him adjust to the table.
They can be pretty athletic dogs but don't having him jump on and off that table height till his body matures.
Super advices from our moderator! Becky, don't forget: treats yes, but randomly.
I'm not mocking you, Bob! I'm glad about your consistent reminding. But this time you forgot! Well, Becky probably doesn't need it.
Becky, you'll definitaly have to choose another costume for Halloween. The one he wears naturally looks much to cute, not at all lhalloweenish!

Sound advice Bob, the doc says wear it all the time, so far I have only worn it for shoveling, and for stacking wood. I def won't be wearing it all the time! It is not comfortable at all!
This was after a 3rd opinion, of a herniated disc. I refuse to wear the brace in the house! Thanks for that advice, the last thing I need is to get a weaker back!
Of course there will be treats Christina! I am known to be a treat dispenser, but will def be mending my ways and making sure I don't make him a chunky monkey!
I think Halloween will be co-ordinated with the ginger kids and their costumes they used to love it when our Emma dressed up with them, she always got biscuits when they got candy! Sure has been hard not telling them!

Just in case you remember until next time, please send us a picture if you find the time. In our culture it is not at all common to celebrate Halloween and to camouflage dogs. Though a part of our people is already beginning to imitate this. There seems to be something funny about it. Or perhaps our people just wants to overtake it because then they have a feast more. I myself have until now only seen it it on TV and some vids. I doubt I'll find a pumpkin big enough to put over my Pits heads. Good muzzle training!. Love your culture, you've got a great sense of humour, though sometimes of course different than ours.
However - once more: take very much care of yourself. but as I see you're well prepared and Jim is a great help for you. a cyber-kiss for him, if I may.

I gave him 3 extra for just being Jim
I myself never have celebrated Halloween, my grandfather died on Halloween when I was young, so it lost its dazzle for me. But I make sure I get the kids into the holidays!
Even with the little bugger xmas elf Timmy, who sneaks around taking my things til Xmas day! (Another xmas fad Christina, called Elf in the Box!)
The toothfairy here is a hater of me too, writes me notes telling me to stop yanking teeth before they fall out naturally!!
I love messing with the holidays, too bad they are almost in their teens, 10 and 11, soon the dazzle will be gone!

Jim picked the registered name for Harry today
MOES LilyJax Helmsdale Breeze
He named him after his street he grew up in in Scotland when he was 15...been over 30 years since he has been there. I find it a fitting name, love it, and solidifies that this our our pup.
The breeder let us pick the CKC names, as long as the first MOES LilyJax was the first characters. Can't wait to bring this baby home and start our next chapter

What a complicated way to regist dog's names. Ours ar not registered at all. Don't know if something like this exists in some metropolis.
I'm sure you must be very much looking forward to having your MOES LilyJax Helmsdale Breeze on your lap.. I'm already impatient too to hearing about him again.

I don't know that I have ever seen an OES puppy, but that is a cute guy! I'm happy for you, Becky.

Thanks Cheri Jim is bringing in some old kitchen cupboards and building me a grooming area in the porch, by my fav window
We are having a fox problem out here right now, and some nitwits think its okay to be shooting alongside our yard, so I am going to be setting up my hunting camera's to get some license plates. I don't need a pup scared by arse's with a useless agenda. Rules are no guns within 1km here, no need to be banging away for people who don't even live in the creek area.
