I am a careful person. I did alot of research on this guy before I bought from him, and I called people who dealt with him and trained for him, and got a good recommendation. I was surprised when the AKC registration wasn't taped to the crate when I picked up the puppy from the airport - all the other breeders over the years did that, or mailed them in advance.
I know problems crop up with registration - a signature omitted, or things like that. I'm pretty patient. I won't go through "he said she said" here, but Todd obviously didn't lie to people, and he tried to keep them updated.
...My dog is tattooed. The litter was AKC registered - I have a copy; but not USA registered. AKC sent the individual reg. to the breeder in November(I called them). I haven't heard from him since October, despite calls, letters and emails (friendly ones, I might add, and yes, I AM mad NOW.) I will check with my credit card provider(good idea, Marj). Thanks again, everybody. Any more ideas, please share!
