The naked girl that paints herself like a tiger in a cage was supposed to be in Phoenix for the Circus this year. They cancelled it, the fires were getting too much coverage so they figured the sill little protest wouldn't make the news.
But they aren't about fund raising.....it's the animals???????

ELF spokesman Craig Rosebraugh, this is what happens to someone when they become a casualty of mental illness.

Well I'm not sure where this came from, but more then likey someone from a group such as Peta.
I run a detection service, I don't think anyone like this person below understands how much a (the dogs I use) dog loves to look for his/her ball/towel.
Just another bleeding heart looking for someone to pick on, with no real cause because they know nothing about what the dogs love to do. Just as long as they can pick on someone, makes them happy I guess.
Of course they have no spine, as they have to hide behind a hot mail account with no name and address.

Animals are not a commodity - they are intelligent, sentient creatures with as much right to a
servitude-free life as any human being.
I don't understand how anyone could make the conscious choice to exploit animals for
financial gain.
'Businesses' like yours should be banned.

Gee, how many humans do you know who get to enjoy a *servitude free life*?
Seriously tho. What I would do, is let this Renee person take, say 7 or 8 of your detection dogs home and keep them in her house for the w/e, to allow them to enjoy the servitude-less freedom of being a house pet.

If we're not supposed to eat animals, why are they made out of meat?

Hey I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm all for the freedom if those poor enslaved honey bees. I mean, what kind of life is that? Toiling hours upon hours to build those hives. Flitting from flower to flower to gather the pollen. Wait a sec, that's what they already do! Give me a break, PETA is becomeing a joke. Maybe it's a case to much money, not enough time. Thanks for laugh.

How I understand it from people who take an interest in them, PETA intends to make intelligent people dismiss them as a joke. It works in their favor. They have their fingers in a lot of political pies, especially at local level in the USA, and they are at work throughout the world with offices based in several countries. Whenever they are up to something that will win them a little more poltical or social control in the long term, they take the heat off by issuing a ridiculous statement to the press, or setting up a circus demo of some sort. It gets people laughing. The media draws public attention to ridiculing them and whatever is really going on, passes unoticed. It's a guerilla tactic that fragments and therefore denys you (the intelligent person) real information and works on the assumption that the average person is too dumb to work it out if they did know. Any opposition is disarmed because it can't even start. They work it very well. Unfortunately. Tell me I'm too serious, but I can't help but wonder how people who openly issue statements to the press to support their footsoldiers terriorism as justified, still roam the streets. In the 1970s PETA was a tiny little socialist group (Peoples Efforts Towards Anarchy). Of course, I'm sure they aren't related in any way and the current PETA leaders really are working their asses off for the well being of skunks, pigs, dogs and of course they truly believe that breeders and farmers are the biggest enemy of the universe and have to be exterminated by any manner seen fit. Which great philosopher was it who said if you find a way to control and dictate the food source and the use of animals, you control the world? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
