No….. he bit the handler…. It looks like he was trying to hook him up to a rolled long line….the dog got him….he gets his arm away and whacks the dog in the nose with the coiled line. Right after that see how he’s checking his hand for bites.
I saw that clip while I was stationed in Germany. I belive (don't Quote me) it was a Israel police dog IN TRAINING that is not even the finished dog. They jump out of planes with the dogs and all. Now those are some jam up Mals. That would be a cool new routine in the ASR.
When people get scared they call the police..When the police get scared they call K-9!
Matt, your thoughts are mine, A jump, secure a DZ and have the dog clean the perimeter, where they're would be a hodgie in the wire trying to plant explosives, the dog must find and apprehend before the explosives can be planted! I say we recommend that to the board for end of season best ASR competitions, kinda like the Army's Best Ranger. Of course I'm just joking but wouldnt' that be interesting!
Hey Matt, I'm in the process of trying to get the BOD to approve a trial up here around Columbus hosted by my club, Hopefully, the end of June or July. If it's going to be hot, we can make it a night trial on a field with lights. You guys will have to come down, and bring plenty of friends. The last trial was a blast. No BS, just good competition, fair judging, and good sportsmanship from everyone.
I say a HOT LZ and you have to make your way thru gun fire with multple Decoys on your way.
We have been talking about starting a club in Augusta if the Board gives us the OK. So that would be two clubs in GA and three times the number of trials so that would be good. Look how fast the PSA grow when they started to open clubs nation wide. The ASR could do that and then some I belive. I have been to both and to me the ASR just has a "group of buddies gettingtogether and doing some training" feel.
Let me know the dates and I will bring a bus full.
When people get scared they call the police..When the police get scared they call K-9!
There are some guys up in North Cacalaki that wants to start an ASR club, Also, some fokes out in Las Vegas showing intrest. I think we're in for a good time!
