Don't worry too much about the wording. It's not horrific by any stretch. And being a from Ontario I made the assumption that English was your first language... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> It was just a suggestion that may have made things easier. The "spelling/grammar" thing only works if you have your e-mail software connected to your word proccessing software.
As far as your pups go, it sounds like something that will pass in time as long as the whole things stays positive for them. (and it sounds like it is) But take my advice with a grain of salt. I'm by no means an expert and trying to learn as I go too.
The reason i asked, if you're raising them at the same time, is that a protection training program is different from any other type off training and it is generaly considered that your first dog is a trainingdog. You make mistakes and you will only find out what you did wrong in the long run. These mistakes happen regardless off who is coaching you. So in training 2 dogs you make 2 times the same mistakes and need to correct them twice also.
Johan believe me after raising three GS already I've made plenty of mistakes, luckily they were minor and all lived to be well adjusted and well trained companions. Our first two GS were brother and sister and I learned pretty quickly that they cannot be raised together as pups but they were introduced later in life and lived as great companions till a ripe old age of 13 & 14 years.
I'm sure mistakes will be made, I wasn't planning on two pups at same time again but things happened and this is were I'm at. One plus is I have lots of time to spend, which is a good thing because everything takes twice as long, plus they have very different temperments, drives ect. One boy is extremely food driven and the other is all toy, toy, toy. One pup is softer then the other ect.
Therefore different training aspects have to be implemented
with each one. Hopefully my Schutzhund club will guide me in
the right direction and I truly believe your never done learning and I really appreciate any help I receive from this forum. I'm always open to suggestions from the more experienced!
