Hi, I have just joined this forum and this is my first post. I have just got a GSD female puppy 4 months old. She is very lovely and pretty. Up to last week she behaved in what I regard a normal way, but during the last 5 days she has become fearful of strangers. When we walk in the street she tries to avoid strangers turns away and puts her tail between her legs. I am worried about this kind of behaviour and I wonder what can I do about it.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Regards
Rino
Hi, I like to give you a follow up on my dog's problem. Today I am very happy because for the first time my dog (in a shop) obeying the down and stay commands showed no fear of people standing by. I have followed most of the advices given on this forum (the sit position when in difficulty, taking no notice of stranger, asking friends to treat the dog etc. etc.)So am quite pleased with the result even if I think there is still a lot to do.
I like also to thank Ed Frawley for the outstanding quality of his DVDs and of his leather collars and leashes.
Again thank to all who bothered to answer my original post.
Best regards
Rino
