“Wait until you are outside in the big area- you are going to have to RUN.”
ZOOMIES!!!
How is your distance work coming?
I have a fast dog and meaningful body language is easier for me when we are both running. When running a series of obstacles it is more like a dance and less awkward than the turning around your dog you do in the beginning. With all your dog experience I doubt you will have consistency problems and as long as you are constant your dog will read you and do what she thinks you want her to do. The trick is matching what the dog thinks you want it to do and what you actually want the dog to do. As much as your dog watches you and as fast as she is I suspect you will be one of those teams that share three words over a 20 obstacle course.
Cindy,
That video was wonderful ! Raine is a fast dog. Did you complete wiht him yet? I'm working Agility with my dogs also.
