Well I'm sure I'm going to get shot for this (parden the pun) but I hate all hunting. Yes I own a gun. Yes I eat steak. Still hate the idea of anyone shooting anything. I could never do it and I could never watch it done.
I should add that the 3 idiots in the OP's original story should probably be shot !

Very honest of you, Judy. Hunting is not for some people and I respect your opinion very much, as long as you don't go all 'PETA' on me and spray paint your opinion on my house.
If God didn't intend for us to eat his creatures, why did he make them so tasty?
As I read the story (and the comments) on the OP's link my initial reaction was "They could easily get themselves shot/bit for doing that crap here in Arizona." I was struck by the sheer unmitigated ignorance of the people who are anthromorphizing animals.
When hunting the animal doesn't really have a way to fight back, but, when you compare their hearing, scent detecting, and vision, it would be the same as me sneaking up on you with a boom box turned up full blast wearing flashing lights and a large container of the stuff they put in propane to make it stink spraying.
Seems we could level out the playing field if hunters would volunteer to climb down from their trees and drop their high-powered rifles, and go out there with just their balls & whatever they've got in their pockets, lol. Now this is a sport! Who's gonna win? This could even make pay-per-view, haha. I just don't see it as a sport when the same team always wins. You think I'm crazy, just a little bit...
By the way, Angelique, those are some awesome looking dogs!

Mike, When the air around myu hunting friends gets a little hard to breath because of all the hot air being released by the bragging I have asked them that very thing you bring up!!!
I have total respect for hunters who eat what they kill, scratch my head a little at trophy hunters, but would have to tell those who participate in "canned hunts" what low down dirty bastids I think they are.
