Does anybody else notice that the mouse hover thing while a nice feature, hinders thread navigation? I can't get to the first post in a thread it always takes me to the last post, or if I want to go into the specific forum. ie Such as General Dog Discussion you can't do it from that window? It only give me the option of doing the hover and going to last post in that thread. Could it be my settings?
Yes, it takes you to the last post in the topic. I missed that about the last version of the board, but after getting used to it, I think I liked it better. Sometimes I haven't been to the board in a couple days so I missed alot of topic and go to active topics to read them. When I click, I have to go back to page one and 1st post to read it. Better for the times I am on alot though!

The boards sometimes move pretty quick and going into the last post in a thread is great when you need that, but just reading or browsing on a 7 page thread that you've never read it is a pain in the butt. It would be nice to be able to do both.

Yes to the mouse hovering feature being a blessing and a curse. I prefer the other way where it doesn't hinder my navigation.
Editing to say yes to the second comment that it's a feature I don't like either.
I think I'm losing my mind. I thought yesterday that I hit on the icon to the left instead of the title, and it brought me to OP/first post but I just tried to do it now and it didn't take me there . Good thing I'm not running my company's IT department !
LOL at some of the comments here  , especially Judy's, and also Charlie's "distraction training".
If there's an "arrow" type icon to the left of the topic, it will take you to the first post, just not sure why all the topics don't have that arrow. So you're not losing your mind Judy LOL
If no arrow, once you get to the thread (last post), just hit the "Home" key on your keyboard, it will take you to the top of that page...if it's page 1 of the thread then you go to the first post; page 2, you go to the top post on that page.
The arrows indicate a topic with a new reply (or replies) that you haven't seen yet
I love this new option, it's saving me tons of scrolling!
By the way, if you don't like having to click through 4-5-10 pages in a thread, you can change your preferences (under My Stuff) to display more entries per page.
The default is only 10 posts per page. I changed my preferences to 60 posts per page and it's SO MUCH BETTER!!!
I'd rather have everything displayed on one page rather than have to go through 10 pages to read all the replies to the same thread... personal preference of course, hehe.
